For me, fantasy is vital. The most influential fantasies in my life have been the magical works of C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien. Uplifting, hopeful, and stimulating, I consider them to be brilliant works. One day, I'm certain that I'll probably write a fantasy novel as homage to a few of my favorite authors.
I have always loved drawing fantasy elements, especially the soldiers, arms and armor. This particular concept was only half-finsihed, kinda. My main influence was Teutonic, though that was quite obvious. Then, I went wild and drew anything I wanted to see on the character. I think I did good; well, considering it's only half-finished. But other than that, I think it captures the vision of high fantasy that was in my mind's eye.

wow.. I wish I could draw like that. I've heard how good an artist you are. I like to draw too, but I can't make things up like that in my head. I don't know if you know who Adam Terrell is, but he is my older brother. I think that he had met you before.
Happy Drawing!
Thank you for the compliment, Amy. Yes, I've met Adam; he's a lot of fun to be with.

I like the shoulders. It would be nice to see how his legs fit into this. But like you said it's not finished.
The smeared shading also looks very nice.
And I like the title, at first it might look like you were trying to compliment yourself, but if you go by the proper definition then "Fantastic" is a very appropriate title. Most people wouldn't use that word in that way. I like it.
Do I see Bar-a-dur and Orthanc in that, or is it just wishful thinking? Because that would be cool for a head villain or his assassin knights or something. ;).
