This little project here is a first by filmmaker Jeffrey French . It is a very small project, but has the potential to be dynamic.
This is a film that explores Christian persecution set in a dystopian future. It's actually kind of reminiscent of Fahrenheit 451. Only it's Christians, not books. And they're not burned.
I will give you absolutely no set-up. All I will show you are the actual storyboards; then, I want to see how many of you can figure out what's going on. If you can, then I've done my job right. Storyboards should be readable without a dialogue line.
Okay, I'll give you a hint: the girl is looking for her mother.
Here it is...
Tell me what you think.

Thanks for mentioning this Johnny! and thanks again for working on these boards, they were a huge help in filming.
I know what's happening because I read the script. My favorite part about the movie so far is that it was wworked on by Johnny, and it that he has great drawing abilities.
Great Drawing! I made sense of them but might have got the story wrong. :)
@ Jansen
YOU read MY script!!! I thought I told Johnny not to share it...
;)
Since you read it, what did you think?
Somehow younger siblings always get to see previews of things, even when they aren't supposed to. Ha! I should know too!
@Dorcas: You can email me your conclusion, if you wish. Unfortunately, I have no prize except perchance the satisfaction that comes with being right.
@Jeffrey: What are you talking about? I have no idea what you're talking about. Seriously. No idea. Have none.
@ Amy K: So it would seem...
@ Johnny: Of course not Johnny. In this case, ignorance is certainly the best policy!
@ Dorcas: You could also e-mail me (through my blog) with said conclusions, and as I am even more closely involved than Johnny is, I can also tell you. And give you a prize. Maybe.
And if she guessed right Johnny, you've probably post too many boards!
;)
@ Jeffrey: I think this is a good start to filmmaking, as I am beginning to do.
@Amy: LOL.
It's a very quick and dramatic scene, both because I've read it and scene the storyboards before.
I couldn't agree with you more, Johnny.
Wait a second...
First off, my family needs to quit spilling the beans...
Secondly, what exactly do you agree with me on, Jared? I missed that part.
Meaning, I agree with you that it does have potential, and that it can be read better just as it is without the script. And why am I writing this comment for? you can delete them both if you want!
@ Jared: What on earth is that ^^^ supposed to mean?!
@ Johnny: :) I guess it's a good thing I don't mind your family reading the script!
